Golf Services Manager Job Description
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Golf Services Manager to lead our golf instruction program at Topgolf UK. This role will oversee the coordination and scheduling of guest lessons, utilize swing analysis technology, and drive growth through marketing and community outreach.
* Key Responsibilities:
* Coordinate and schedule guest lessons
* Utilize swing analysis technology and learning theories
* Grow the golf instruction platform through marketing and community outreach
* Direct tournaments and summer camps
* Work with the events team to promote and teach lessons
* Walk the tee line to market platform and provide impromptu lessons
* Supervise information requests regarding lesson schedules and instructional series
* Manage and implement player development series at venue level
* Manage club fitting, repair, and maintenance
* Maintain inventory of golf services tools and technology
* Meet budgetary requirements for the golf services program
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* 2-3 years of teaching golf lessons with experience coaching different levels of golfers
* 2-3 years of sales experience required
* PGA Membership; Class A Certification preferred
* Bachelor's degree preferred
* Management experience of an independent golf lesson program
* Proven track record of successful instruction
* Exceptional coaching ability
* Social and interpersonal skills to interact with all Topgolf Guests
* Familiarity with swing analysis technology and launch monitor technology
* Ability to develop positive relationships with Guests
* Excellent communication, time management, and organization skills
* Ability to work on a team
* Energy and enthusiasm
* A high level of self-awareness, receptivity to change, and integrity
* Ability to work in extreme weather conditions for extended periods
* Availability to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
* Ability to stand and walk for long periods, including maneuvering stairs
What We Offer
Competitive salary up to £23,000 + commission
