Job Description
* Process and record financial transactions accurately and in a timely manner.
* Reconcile bank statements and other financial documents.
* Assist in the preparation of financial reports, including income statements and balance sheets.
* Provide support in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
* Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
* Assist with payroll processing and related tasks.
* Maintain and update financial records and documentation.
* Collaborate with other departments to gather necessary financial information.
* Respond to inquiries from vendors, clients, and internal stakeholders.
* Assist in the preparation for audits and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
The Successful Applicant
* Proven experience as an Accounts Assistant or in a similar role.
* Proficient in using accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
* Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
* Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
* Knowledge of relevant financial regulations and compliance.
* May be working towards an accountancy degree
