Reports to – National Contract Manager – Network Rail
Salary: Up to £42,000 per annum (inc Car allowance £4,000 per annum)
A day in the life of an Area Operations Manager
Getting out of bed and leading the rail parking customer journey mindset with supercharged focus to ensure the passenger journey is always at its optimum – It is not as easy as it sounds, but it can be fun and rewarding.
With the customer happy and on their destination route, ensuring that environments are safe and compliant with teams leading through reporting & escalation methods are the basic principles of our compliance model.
Now the customer has likely arrived at their destination, we know our environments are safe and sound – time to think about how we can grow further commercially with local agreement relationship building and enabling our environments are at full capacity. Oh wait, don’t forget about those increasing cost lines also – considering daily how we can keep within control.

What you will do:
* Ensure your respective Area supervisory team within Midlands / Southwest are customer focused, foster a sense of commercial growth, always delivering safe environments with an authentic care for our people.
* Reporting into National Contract Manager, you will ensure that weekly & periodic reporting is provided to showcase KPI fulfilment within our commercial, compliance and customer framework. In addition, building knowledge and skill / behavioural enhancement across your teams.

* Able to demonstrate positive multi-site leadership experience
* Have ability to forecast accurately and take ownership of financial performance
* Have strong sense of self awareness and development requirements
* Experience of maintaining strong client relationship
* MS Office proficient
* Can create buy in and real sense of development for others
* High energy
* Ability to manage hands on and lead through others
