The Role
The ESMS Junior School is seeking to appoint an After School and Holiday Club Deputy Manager (Primary 1-Primary 3) to join the ePlus department on a permanent, part time basis from February 2025 (subject to satisfactory pre-employment checks). Hours of work are Monday to Friday from 12pm to 6pm during term time (30 hours per week) and on a rota basis during the holiday periods (26.25 hours). The salary range is £24,083- £26,456 per annum. The postholder will be based at the ESMS Junior School at Ravelston.
The purpose of the After School and Holiday Club Deputy Manager at Ravelston is to lead an effective and motivated team to deliver high quality out of school care which meets the needs of the children and their families.
We are seeking a responsible, well-organised, and enthusiastic team player with experience managing staff and working with children. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent attention to detail, strong multi-tasking and prioritisation skills, and a commitment to the values of ESMS. While a Level 9 or SVQ4 qualification is preferred, we will also consider candidates working towards a qualification or GTCS registration with prior managerial experience.
ESMS is unable to sponsor the employment of international workers in this role. International applicants will therefore be unable to apply for and secure a Skilled Worker visa. The successful candidate will only be able to take up this role if they can demonstrate an alternative right to work in the UK.
