We’re working with a forward-thinking housing organisation that’s looking for an experienced Business Intelligence Manager to join on an interim basis and take ownership of their business intelligence and reporting function.
This is a key role focused on driving data integrity, supporting strategic planning, and improving how performance is tracked, reported, and acted upon. It’s hands-on, fast-paced, and ideal for someone who enjoys both the detail and the bigger picture.
What you’ll be doing
* Leading performance reporting across the organisation – creating dashboards, reports, and insights that drive decision-making.
* Overseeing Power BI development – including modelling, visualisation, and end-user support.
* Aligning performance metrics with business plans and strategic objectives.
* Managing one direct report and collaborating with senior stakeholders.
* Supporting customer satisfaction survey design, analysis and reporting.
* Working with data protection and IT teams to ensure compliance with GDPR and robust data governance.
* Providing performance reports for board and committee meetings.
What we’re looking for
* Proven experience in a BI, Performance or Data Manager role.
* Strong technical skills with Power BI, including DAX, Power Query, and SQL.
* Ability to translate data into actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders.
* Comfortable working in a regulated, service-driven environment – housing sector experience is a strong advantage.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
This is an initial 3 month contract, with the potential for extension and we’re looking for someone available for an immediate start.
