Role Overview
* FPGA Development: Design and implement FPGA-based solutions for high-speed trading systems.
* System Optimisation: Analyse performance bottlenecks and implement low-latency improvements.
* Collaboration: Work closely with hardware engineers, software developers, and trading specialists to build fully integrated systems.
* Testing and Debugging: Conduct rigorous testing to ensure reliability and peak performance in live environments.
What We’re Looking For
* Technical Expertise: Strong experience in FPGA design and development (VHDL/Verilog) and proficiency in tools like Vivado, Quartus, or similar.
* Low-Latency Knowledge: Familiarity with low-latency systems, high-speed interfaces, and protocol optimisation (e.g., Ethernet, PCIe).
* Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to diagnose and solve complex technical challenges.
* Relevant Education: Degree in Electronics, Computer Engineering, or related field (Master’s or PhD preferred).
* Bonus Skills: Knowledge of C/C++ or Python for hardware/software integration and experience with financial trading systems.
