Reporting to the EMEA Director of Marketing Communications, the UK Marketing Manager is part of a wider EMEA Marketing team and has primary responsibility for external facing marketing activities within the country, including managing partial budget for Dematic EMEA.
As the UK Marketing Manager, you will define and implement strategies for effective and efficient working teams to best-in-class standards, within EMEA whilst maintaining a good collaboration and synergy between the central marketing teams (global).
You will be responsible for the in-market MarCom and Customer Experience. This includes identifying and assisting with the execution of trade shows, regional campaigns, sales enablement, and customer communications, in strong alignment with the Director, of Marketing and Communications and the regional Sales responsible for the UK market.

Key Responsibilities:
5. Raise Dematic brand awareness with events and various marketing projects
6. Set strategic plans, budgets and controlling mechanisms in the division to deliver performance targets and provide effective development plans
7. Develop define and apply both innovative and standard solutions to satisfy customer requirements
8. Build relationships with customers through good communication in meetings, presentations, documentation and other means.
9. Contribute, as part of the wider UK management team to the successful achievement of Companywide goals and targets.
10. Support the development of the UK go to Market Strategy and Marketing Strategy.
11. Present the Company to customers in line with the Company image i.e. competence, application experience, high quality products and excellent customer care. Maintain good contact with existing customers and establish contact with new customers where possible.
12. Create and support a collaborative approach within the business, generating close interaction with the Sales, Engineering and Implementation teams.
13. Monitor the materials handling market, i.e. customers, suppliers and competitors. Maintain levels of product and application know-how on the Company product range.
14. Position and differentiate Dematic in the market with events.
15. Educate customers on the latest solutions and technologies with events.

Qualifications & Requirements:
18. Bachelor's Degree required. Masters strongly preferred.
19. 5+ years of marketing and communications experience working within a global, matrix organization.
20. Proactive self-starter with discipline for setting goals and metrics, driving decisions, and getting closure on recommendations and issues.
21. Excellent communication and influencing skills at all levels both internal and external and competence in making timely, effective, principles-based decisions.
22. Strong team player, creative in coming up with new ideas, and keeps strong alignment with the Director and the other Marketing Team members.
23. Ability to travel based on business needs.
