Logistics Coordinator
We are a rapidly growing technology provider based in the UK, and we're in search of dedicated individuals to join us during this exciting phase of expansion.
Responsibilities:
1. Prepare weekly ad-hoc stock reports, aiding in the accurate management of stock.
2. Monitor stock levels for new starter equipment and promptly request replenishment as needed.
3. Conduct regular stock audits, guaranteeing precision and reliability.
4. Generate daily lists of equipment required by the builds team, facilitating seamless workflow.
5. Handle last-minute equipment requests from clients with agility and responsiveness.
6. Physically pack shipments daily, ensuring items are securely and efficiently prepared for delivery.
7. Assist in retrieving stock for internal colleagues throughout the day, maintaining a seamless workflow.
8. Address issues with lost or damaged shipments by initiating follow-up communication with clients.
9. Coordinate collections and deliveries, keeping clients and manufacturers informed at all stages.
10. Monitor the Lighthouse ticket queue to ensure timely resolutions.
11. Produce both internal and external reports, contributing to well-informed decision-making.
12. Keep a watchful eye on the goods-in email inbox, ensuring efficient response times.
Role Objective:
Your objective as a Logistics Coordinator is to ensure the smooth and accurate management of stock in the Logistics Department. This includes overseeing internal tracking, processing, and client stock reporting, while continually seeking ways to optimize processes.
Skills and Background:
1. Proven experience in administrative roles with a focus on logistics and stock control.
2. Exceptional organizational skills with a keen eye for detail.
3. Proficiency using a Windows PC, including Microsoft Outlook and Excel.
4. The ability to thrive under pressure while maintaining efficiency.
5. Effective problem-solving skills, coupled with a proactive approach.
6. Excellent written and spoken English.
Desirable:
1. Previous experience within the IT sector, demonstrating industry-specific knowledge.
