Applications are invited for the appointment of a dynamic and enthusiastic Clinical Fellow in Paediatrics at Frimley Health Foundation NHS Trust (at the Wexham Park Hospital site). This is an exciting hybrid role with registrar nights and duties with opportunity for Consultant level working.
We have an ongoing commitment to improving and investing in our services and facilities, including a £10m upgrade to the maternity unit, a £49m new Emergency Assessment Centre, as well as opening a brand new £100m state of the art hospital to replace the previous facility at Heatherwood. We are planning to invest further in diagnostics and inpatient capacity at Frimley Park and have recently received approval to build a brand-new hospital as part of the New Hospitals Programme.
Significant investment into our Quality Improvement and Digital Programmes has been made to support our vision and will help to ensure that we achieve our aim of providing the highest quality of healthcare to our patients.
Our EPR Epic went live in June 2022 and we are already beginning to reap the benefits of this investment. Our three core values, and the behaviours that support them, guide everything we do and set out what we expect of our staff in the way they treat patients, visitors, service users and each other. If you have a passion for clinical excellence, patient care and your own career development, you’ll feel at home at Frimley Health.
This post holder would join a team of Consultants, Specialty Doctors, supported by middle grades and junior Doctors.
The responsibilities will include a combination of Registrar level night duties alongside day shifts, and an opportunity to develop outpatient skills.
There will be opportunity for teaching, and a focus on supporting the junior middle grade trainees would be expected.
