About You: We are looking to hear from candidates who have the following skills/experience: NMC qualified Children’s Nurse and significant experience of working in children and young people’s nursing practice. Teaching experience either in Higher Education or in practice education: teaching qualification desirable at Lecturer but essential at Senior Lecturer. A good honours degree in Children’s Nursing and post graduate degree are essential. Be able to work autonomously and take ownership of areas of responsibility Ability to take a collaborative role within the department with a proven record of management skills including the ability to motivate staff. Able to successfully undertake the management of projects. Ability to work as a team member to enhance the quality of the student journey. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated with significant experience of working with Children and Young People, have a passion for teaching and bring a thorough understanding of Children’s Nursing to the department.
