Job summary We are looking for a highly specialised nurse to join our Inherited Cardiac Conditions (ICC) team, based at the Essex Cardiothoracic Centre in Basildon, If successful, you will be working in close collaboration with the clinical lead for the service and work as part of the wider multidisciplinary team (MDT) to provide advice, information and support to patients and their families affected or at risk of ICCs including, cardiomyopathies, inherited arrhythmias and aortopathies. Main duties of the job If successful, you will: Work autonomously and managing their own caseload of patients, whilst working as part of the multi-disciplinary team. Ensure continuity and a high standard of evidenced based care, from point of assessment through to treatment, management, discharge from hospital and follow-up in outpatients' clinic. Act independently/autonomously within the cardiac team to manage caseloads being guided by best practice and Trust policies and guidelines.
