Highway Assurance is looking for an Administrator Apprentice to work closely with local councils and construction contractors across the UK to maintain roads and provide traffic management. Ideal candidates have strong conversational skills and strong organizational techniques.
As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and gain hands-on experience, acquiring new skills while working alongside experienced staff.
What you’ll do at work
* Approve/allocate operatives' annual leave requests
* Opportunity to undertake CAD training to progress role-specific skills within the Traffic Management department.
Training to be provided
An apprenticeship includes regular training with a college or other training organization. At least 20% of your working hours will be spent training or studying.
College or training organization: RM TRAINING (UK) LIMITED
Your training course: Business Administrator (Level 3), equivalent to A level.
Your training plan:
* Business Administrator Level 3 Apprenticeship Standard
* The apprenticeship program duration is 15 months
* 20% off-the-job training will be required as approved by the employer
* Once a month, you will meet your skills coach for two hours at the workplace
* Functional Skills in maths, English, and ICT (if required)
* You will be based in the employer’s office, gaining 15 months of office-based training

Things to consider
The location of Highway Assurance HO is in a rural area, so you will need to be able to travel with your own form of transportation.
After 15 months, a full-time role will be offered.
