We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Greenwich to assist with the appointment of a Capital Finance & Performance Monitoring Officer, on a 6-month contract, highly likely to be extended at client’s discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.
Rate of Pay: £19.52 - £24.69 per Hour
Summary:
We are looking for a Capital Finance & Performance Monitoring Officer to support the Capital Investment Programme within Housing Services. The role involves financial monitoring, performance tracking, and contract management, ensuring compliance with standards and efficiency in budget allocation.
Responsibilities:
* Develop and manage performance and monitoring systems for Capital Investment.
* Track and update budgets, KPIs, and project milestones.
* Provide financial and budgetary reports for decision-making.
* Utilize Microsoft Project, Keystone, and Northgate for project monitoring.
* Work with Quantity Surveyors to maintain cost databases and budget estimates.
* Ensure compliance with legislation, industry benchmarks, and best practices.
Qualifications:
* Relevant degree or equivalent experience in finance, construction management, or project monitoring.
* Experience in capital investment, asset management, or public sector finance is desirable.
* Strong background in financial monitoring, contract management, and performance reporting.
* Experience with budget forecasting, cash flow profiling, and cost analysis.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Keystone, and Northgate systems.
* Knowledge of capital investment and procurement processes.
* Ability to liaise with external agencies, local authorities, and internal teams.
