We’re seeking a Housing Support Officer to work with residents in our Transitional Stage accommodation, focusing on their tenancy agreements and providing critical support. What You’ll Do: • Support residents with their tenancy agreements, ensuring they understand and adhere to their responsibilities. • Take legal tenancy action when required, including issuing Section 8 and Section 21 notices. • Attend court proceedings to complete the legal process for tenancy actions. • Develop and implement personalised support plans to help residents maintain their tenancies. • Foster engagement and well-being, encouraging residents to participate in activities that build independence and social connection. What We’re Looking For: • Experience in housing support or a related field, with knowledge of tenancy law and processes. • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively support and advocate for residents. • A proactive, empathetic approach to working with vulnerable adults. • The ability to balance supportive and legal responsibilities with professionalism.
