Vacancy: Continuous Improvement (JMPS) Manager Location: Brimsdown, UK Job Family: Production Johnson Matthey is currently seeking Continuous Improvement Manager who will be responsible for the management and implementation of the manufacturing excellence programs within the respective site. Working closely with the Site Manager and Site Leadership team, Continuous Improvement Manager will play an important role in helping to foster a culture of sustainable change through the creation and embedding of methodologies, and the supporting framework, to deliver business transformation. The fundamental purpose of the role is to ensure value opportunities are identified and delivered in line with the business strategy, goals and objectives. Your responsibilities: • Lead the roll out and development of Johnson Matthey Production System (JMPS), including but not limited to tiered meetings, handovers, problem solving and 5S. • Manage and implement manufacturing excellence programs within the site to ensure alignment with business goals and objectives. • Ensure successful delivery of operational excellence initiatives across the site. • Identify and deliver value opportunities in line with the business strategy. • Work closely with the Site Manager and Site Leadership Team to foster a culture of sustainable change. • Collaborate as a key member of the site's leadership team, contributing to overall site performance and decision-making. • Lead and support a small team to deliver manufacturing excellence programs, including lean methodology, 5S, and structured problem solving. Requirements for the role: • Experience in operations or continuous improvement is essential. • Proven track record in delivering manufacturing excellence and efficiency projects. • Strong understanding of lean methodologies and process improvement techniques. • Ability to lead and engage teams in driving change and delivering results. • Ability to work closely with senior leadership and contribute to strategic planning.
