Our team in Leeds currently has an opening for a Business Controller - Case & Construction (BSP EMEA).
YOUR ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
* Financial analysis, KPIs, monitoring, and reporting.
* Financial support and interpretation of the business.
* Support and work alongside non-financial management.
* Strategic and decision-making models. Implementation of strategies.
* Business procedures, reporting compliance, controls, and risk assessments.
* Control and preparation of budgets and forecasts.
* Review and analyse working capital to achieve optimisation.
* Evaluation and appraisal of capex and contract approval requests.
* Reconciliation of Global / EMEA data to local systems.
YOUR PROFILE
Education:
* Recognised Professional Accounting Qualification required.
Experience/knowledge:
* Excellent analytical skills & the ability to communicate across business functions.
* Multiple years experience with Financial Planning & Analysis in a multi-country environment.
* Strong knowledge of O365 applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
* Knowledge of SAP and financial consolidation systems (HFM, OneStream) would also be preferable.
Personal Skills & Abilities:
* Strong communication skills.
* Pro-active with an analytical approach and working alongside non-financial teams. Commercial & operational focus.
* Able to show initiative, preventing problems rather than reacting to them.
* Ability to prioritise and manage own workload within a busy environment.
