1. Generate business leads and acquire contracts aligned with our strategic goals.
2. Develop and execute revenue-generating strategies to meet and exceed sales targets.
3. Create and implement capture plans for opportunities, ensuring successful closure.
4. Promote RML Group’s services to maximize sales potential.
5. Identify profit generation and cost control opportunities within our customer base.
6. Strengthen relationships with existing clients to enhance business opportunities.
7. Maintain and update CRM systems to track sales opportunities and forecast.
8. Research and analyze market intelligence to support our growth strategy.
9. Ensure high customer satisfaction by addressing client objectives and concerns.
10. Monitor competitor activities to maintain market leadership and value for customers.
11. Prepare and present proposals, quotations, and tender responses.
12. Represent RML Group at trade shows and client events.
13. Ensure compliance with Health & Safety regulations.
Ideally you should have the following:
1. NVQ Level 4 in a relevant engineering discipline or equivalent.
2. 5+ years of experience in sales/business development within automotive/defence/non-highway industries.
3. Proven track record of meeting/exceeding sales targets.
4. Strong understanding of the sales process with industry expertise.
5. Established network within the automotive/SVO/motorsport sectors.
6. Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
7. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
8. Willingness to travel and self-motivated.
It would be advantageous to have:
1. Training in Shipley Associates or Miller Heiman sales processes.
2. Degree in Business Management or related field.
3. Engineering qualifications.
