What skills and experience we're looking for
Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise and support students in completing pre-planned work during teacher absences.
• Maintain classroom order and manage behaviour effectively.
• Ensure that students adhere to the school’s Behaviour for Learning Policy.
• Work collaboratively with teaching staff to deliver lessons and support student progress.
• Take responsibility for recording rewards and sanctions in line with school policy.
• When not covering lessons, support the SEND and pastoral teams, helping to manage students with additional needs or behavioural difficulties.
• Assist in extra-curricular activities and supervise students during examinations when required.
About You:
You will be a confident and adaptable individual who is committed to maintaining high standards and supporting students in their learning. You will have a flexible approach and be comfortable working across a range of subjects and with students of varying needs and abilities. Experience working with young people in an educational setting is desirable but not essential.
