The role:
Finance Business Partner - 1yr FTC
Background:
The University of Hull is looking for a Finance Business Partner to help drive the strategy and business plans of the Directorate. The University continues to head on a journey of change, especially around its digital infrastructure, currently implementing a new ERP system which will transform the way we operate on a daily basis. This is an exciting time to join whilst we navigate through change and challenge set in the HE sector.
The role involves being a senior member of the team to ensure that operational resources and staffing are fully optimised, which includes strategic decision making, risk and performance management, whilst retaining professional objectivity and the ability to challenge constructively and influence effectively when necessary.
We are looking for:
* Qualified/Part qualified accountants with experience of working as a finance business partner.
* Demonstrated expertise in finance operations.
* Proven track record of influencing decision-making processes and fostering development.
* Ability to take ownership of operational planning and financial organisation.
* Creative problem-solving skills to devise innovative solutions.
