Mobile Mechanical Maintenance Technician LOCATION: Fife, Scotland CONTRACT: Permanent, full time Upto £37,000 van with fuel card private healthcare flexible benefits About the Role We are seeking a skilled and experienced Mobile Mechanical Maintenance Technician to join our team, working on a commercial heating contract in Fife, Scotland. This role requires you to deliver high-quality planned and reactive mechanical maintenance within a commercial environment, ensuring HVAC mechanical services are maintained to the highest standards. You will be joining a fantastic team where engineers support each other, sharing knowledge and expertise to help everyone succeed. Key Responsibilities Conduct planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on mechanical equipment, ensuring compliance with agreed service levels and statutory regulations. Diagnose and rectify faults in HVAC mechanical systems, providing support and expertise where needed. Complete reactive maintenance and installations efficiently, adhering to industry best practices and safety regulations. Participate in the out-of-hours emergency call-out team, providing 24/7 service support as required. Maintain detailed records, including job sheets and compliance certificates. Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with Health & Safety regulations. Work independently and manage reactive work carried out by other team members. Requirements Recognised Mechanical Apprenticeship (preferred but not essential). City & Guilds qualification in Heating and Ventilation or Plumbing. Experience working with mechanical plant and plumbing-related building services maintenance, including PPMs Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
