Contract Manager - Drylining
Contract Management roles in drylining can be few and far between, but you know that, which is why you are here reading this advert.
Most drylining companies are owner-managed and operate off a fairly flat management structure; however, our client likes to do things differently.
With offices across the UK, they are a conglomerate of business units to spread their contractual risk. Too many subcontractors have been annihilated by main contractors, and after 80 years in business, our client is financially strong and cash-rich due to this calculated approach.
Our client is now looking for a Drylining Contract Manager who is happy to travel for their role.
Initially, you would be based in Somerset and you will be responsible for the delivery of a £10M drylining project for an office fit-out. They also have a large hospital job coming up in Portsmouth, and so once this commences, you will have both these projects under your remit, plus one more in their pipeline.
Our client is a Design and Build Drylining Contractor working exclusively on Commercial Fit Out Projects (offices, schools, hospitals). Therefore, it is imperative that you have sound knowledge of drylining design in these types of projects. You must have an eye for detail and be able to flag design issues on site before they arise. Strong technical knowledge of drylining is imperative for this opportunity.
Due to their strategic method of doing business, this role will offer you a fantastic long-term opportunity; they will build a business unit around you, leading to Directorship for the right person. You must be flexible with travel and be prepared to travel and stay away from home (all of this will be paid for) due to their current project locations, this is essential for this opportunity.
Should the above position sound of interest, please apply to this advert today. Alternatively, give me a call for a confidential chat.
