You will be working within a team to deliver projects through the design/build/commissioning phases, maintaining programme and budget. Responsible for the health and safety compliance of the project activities being undertaken on site during the project life cycle. Managing project activities in line with the programme. The role will involve delivery of Non-Infra projects within the Water Treatment Industry with variable degrees of civils & MEICA works involved. You will work on projects through the UK on major water Utility companies including Southwest Water, Severn Trent Water, Yorkshire Water, United Utilities and, possibly, Scottish Water. A split of both clean water and sewage treatment across both non-infra and interfacing with partnering infra projects. Some of your day-to-day responsibilities include: Production of all necessary project documentation including programmes, forecasting, procurement scheduling, and an understanding of the NEC regarding time and cost, EWNs and contractual awareness required to escalate issues to the commercial team. Input into Quality planning (Civil related) and ITPs (Inspection & Test plans) Co-ordinating with client and subcontractors regarding H&S inspections/ audits surrounding project activities. Coordinating the site activities to ensure programme is maintained whilst balancing the functions of operational sites. Lead and record Worksite readiness reviews in advance of commencing build/ mobilisation activities on site. Working with the Site/Commissioning/Operations manager to ensure the related activities are being undertaken in line with the QA (Quality Assurance)/ ITP and maintaining programme. The skills we look for: Proven Project Management experience, on projects which have an element of Civils &MEICA. Contractual awareness and ability to manage a project through from conception to completion MS Project, understanding and ability to create detailed programs based on works information and costing build ups. Hydraulic understanding of water distribution; boosted systems; and pumped dosing systems would be advantageous. Process knowledge around treatment, water movement would be advantageous. Familiarity of Valves, both manual and actuated, would be beneficial. Experience of Inlet screens; pump sets; mixers; dosing equipment; storage tanks and vessels; pressure filters; surge systems etc. (all typically found on clean and dirty treatment sites throughout the UK) would help with integration into the Team.
