We are looking for an experienced IT Technician to support an exciting company based in Borehamwood for approximately 1-2 months.
Working closely with the IT Manager, you be the first point of contact for all technical support requests across all departments, both onsite and remote.
· Pay: £18 p/h
· Hybrid: 3 days in the office, 2 days WFH
· Free parking
· IT equipment provided
Key responsibilities:
· Logging and resolving all IT Helpdesk issues in the agreed time frame
· Investigating, diagnosing and solving computer software and hardware faults
· Installing, setting up and configuring hardware, software, and system accounts
· Set up new starters’ desks and equipment, assist with training and onboarding new staff
What the client is looking for:
· Proven experience in a helpdesk or technical support environment, both remotely and hands-on
· Networking knowledge including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and mobile device management (MDM) solutions
· Experienced in Google Workspace and Gmail/Drive/Docs/Sheets, plus Microsoft365 – essential
· Experienced with Windows and Mac OS/Chrome OS - preferred
· Self-starter with a ‘can-do’ attitude
· Strong written and verbal communication skills
