Join an ambitious and expanding Transportation sector End Client with massive investment plans! Current construction investment stands in excess of £1bn, with more in the pipeline subject to planning.
Forming part of the Major Projects team, this position will find you responsible as the client side Lead Planner on a complex £150M project that is due to start construction imminently. The position will initially be delivery focused, with you managing the programme relationship with the Main Contractor.
This position would suit someone with demonstrable experience of working for a Tier One Contractor as a Senior Planner, with a delivery or engineering background.

As the Led Planner, you will be responsible for:
Create and maintain schedules for the entire project journey, including internal and external interfaces. This will include managing the control programmes from project concept to closeout, managing contract program evaluations, assessing compensation events, conducting delay analysis and helping to drive schedule improvements through to the supply chain
Playing a major role in leading and managing planning teams for the programme
Contribute to the development of standards, manage, motivate, coach and mentor team members
Review the Programme, assist in trend and change processes, reporting, risk management and finding ways to be more efficient
Continuously develop and uphold world-class health, safety, and environmental standards across the programme and its contractors.
To be successful in this position, you will need:
An HNC / HND / Degree in a construction related subject, such as civil engineering or construction management
Previous experience planning infrastructure projects as a Senior Planner on multi-year programmes within the construction or infrastructure sectors working on projects/programmes typically more than £100 million.
Previous experience leading small teams
Extensive experience of Primavera P6 and related commercial acumen
Demonstrable experience in communicating with a wide range of stakeholders
In return, you will be offered a salary of 82,000 - 88,000 per annum along with a generous benefits package which includes cash allowance, 6% pension, 25 days holiday, Private Medical Insurance and 20% bonus.
