They are at an exciting stage, with strong foundations already in place – now they are looking for someone who can take the People function to the next level and help to continue to build a company people genuinely love to work for.
What You’ll Be Doing:
As the Head of People, you’ll be responsible for driving the people strategy and culture, while also managing core HR operations. You’ll work closely with senior leadership to ensure people practices support business goals, engagement, and long-term growth.
Your key responsibilities will include:
* Owning and developing the HR strategy to support scaling plans
* Acting as a trusted advisor to the leadership team on all people matters
* Enhancing the culture and championing the values across the organisation
* Leading all HR processes, including performance, L&D, benefits, and wellbeing
* Managing employee relations and ensuring compliance with UK employment law
* Leading talent acquisition and developing outstanding onboarding/offboarding experiences
* Overseeing and evolving the HR systems, tools, and people analytics
* Designing and delivering engagement initiatives, employee surveys (eNPS), and feedback loops
* Supporting staff progression, career development, and succession planning
About You:
* You’re an experienced HR/People leader with a mix of strategic and hands-on expertise – ideally with standalone experience
* Comfortable working autonomously and building from a solid foundation
* Passionate about culture, engagement, and developing others
* A confident communicator with high emotional intelligence and sound judgment
* Strong knowledge of employment law, performance management, and people operations
* Previous experience working in a scale-up, tech, or professional services environment is a bonus
