GSL Education is seeking an enthusiastic and innovative teacher to join a Secondary School on a part-time basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to inspire and engage students while delivering high-quality lessons in an encouraging and supportive school environment.
About the Role:
Teach Design Technology across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, delivering engaging and practical lessons.
Plan, prepare, and deliver a range of lessons in line with the national curriculum, with opportunities to specialise in areas such as Resistant Materials and Product Design.
Inspire students to develop their creative and technical skills, fostering an interest in design and engineering principles.
Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their growth and success.
Contribute to the wider life of the school, including extracurricular clubs and events within the department.
As the ideal Design Technology Teacher, you must hold:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent qualification.
Specialism or experience in teaching Design Technology, with a strong understanding of the curriculum.
A creative and enthusiastic approach to teaching, with the ability to inspire and engage students of all abilities.
Excellent classroom management skills and a commitment to creating a positive learning environment.
An enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one.
