Job summary The Leeds Emergency Medicine Departments offer 12-month Clinical Fellowships designed to provide individually tailored experience and training for those who want to develop a special interest in specific areas of Emergency Medicine. Fellowship posts are available from May and August 2025 onwards. These are new post and aimed at post CCT/CESR doctors in Emergency medicine. The post holders will be working at 80/20 clinical to non-clinical split of total contracted time. There will be funding available for attending relevant external courses. The posts are offered on a fixed term contract for up to 12 months. The post holder must be registered with GMC and hold a license to practice. The post holder will be responsible for delivering care to patients within the Emergency Departments at the Leeds General Infirmary and St James University Hospital. The posts are adaptable to suit the candidate's areas of interest - Candidates will be supported in developing a new service that supports the wider emergency needs of the patients in Leeds. Leeds teaching hospital is a major trauma centre and has been successful in delivering training to specialist trainees in emergency medicine and has also run a successful junior clinical fellow and a senior clinical fellow program over the years.
