We are working with a Coventry based Higher Education institute, who are recruiting for a Head of People Analytics & Technology to join the team on a 6-month fixed term contract. This position is a key role within the HR function, responsible for leading the strategic management, development, and implementation of people systems, data analytics, and other technology solutions. This is a full-time position (37 hours) paying up to £70k and offering 4 days p/week home working. Duties will include (but are not limited to): Leading the development, implementation, and optimisation of people technology, ensuring products/systems meet the operational and strategic needs Collaborate with People and IT teams to maintain, update, and troubleshoot systems Driving system integration efforts to streamline workflows and improve user experience across platforms Leading the collection, analysis, and reporting of people metrics such as turnover rates, employee engagement, diversity, workforce planning, and productivity Partnering with People Services colleagues to create data-driven recommendations to inform people management strategies Overseeing the development of self-service dashboards and reports for key stakeholders, empowering data-driven decision-making at all levels Delivering timely and useful reporting for all stakeholders; troubleshooting issues with current reports and continuously improve reporting output Leading change management efforts related to the implementation of new people systems and data processes, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal disruption. Experience required: Proven experience in managing people systems, people analytics, or other people technology in a complex organisation Proficiency in people analytics tools and platforms (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI) and advanced Excel skills Experience with people systems, with iTrent, TeamTailor and Enboarder an advantage Skills, knowledge and expertise required: CIPD L7 or substantial professional experience Strategic and analytical mindset with a focus on data-driven decision-making Strong understanding of people technology and industry best practices Rewards and Benefits: 30 days annual leave, plus bank holidays 7% employer pension contribution Private medical insurance Working hours : 37 hours per week Monday - Friday, 9am-5pm Please note that you require recent experience to apply for this role.
