Purpose of job
Due to continued growth, Birketts law firm is recruiting for a Client Services Assistants to work in our Norwich office. Reporting into the Client Services Team Leader, you will help ensure a highly professional and pro-active facilities service and reception cover is achieved to contribute to the smooth and efficient running of the office.
Main Accountabilities:
1. Ensuring the office is always presented to a high standard particularly the communal and client facing areas.
2. Assist with effective liaison, support and assistance between the client services team and the rest of the firm.
3. Provide business service support across all departments in the office and assist, where appropriate, with any office related issues.
4. Book, prepare and clear meeting rooms and organise refreshments as required.
5. Maintain and monitor office supplies.
6. Mail and DX duties cover, including all incoming and outgoing couriers.
7. Ensure the appropriate Health & Safety procedures are followed such as the fire procedure and first aid.
8. Assist with general administration tasks.
Skills
9. Proven experience of working in a customer facing environment.
10. Ideally have front of house customer service experience.
11. Experience of handling tricky situations whilst interacting with others (members of public, customers, colleagues).
12. Effective communication and organisational skills.
13. Good understanding and use of Microsoft Office applications.
14. Maintain a motivational and proactive approach at all times.
15. Adaptable to change and innovative ideas.
16. Flexible to meet business requirements.
17. Excellent planning, time management and organisational skills.
18. Team player.
19. Ability to remain focused and decisive when working to specified targets in a pressured environment.
