Civil Design Engineer
Type: Full-time, Permanent.

We're looking for a Civil Design Engineer in Billericay, Essex!
This role is ideally placed to take a Civil Design Engineer working in the development-related infrastructure consulting industry to the next level.
About:
You will join a well-established, diverse civils team of 10, operating out of a warm and inviting office space. You will work on exciting civil/infrastructure design projects relating to roads, drainage, earthworks, and utilities for developments.
With a residential focus, these developments can also be in the commercial, industrial or retail industries depending on the project.

Responsibilities:
- Feasibility studies for new proposed developments.
- Authoring Flood Risk Assessments for proposed developments in flood plains.
- Preliminary and detailed design of highways for developments which may include estate roads, site access, junctions and roundabouts, as part of S278 and S38 agreements of the Highways Act.
- Outline and detailed drainage design for surface water and foul water for the approval of S104 and S106 applications of the Water Industry Act.
- SuDS design where applicable.
- Earthwork calculations, including Cut and Fill to minimise volumes of earth moved on/from site.
- Providing site-wide external levels design.
