The position We have an urgent requirement for a Branch Manager to join our Birmingham branch. Our Birmingham Glazing branch is set up with a team already operational, fitted with the latest machinery to help provide an exciting platform for the new Branch Manager to excel. The role will be busy and varied, will involve high levels of self-management and managing a branch team of 10. Every day will be different, but working with current customers, growing the local client base, and developing the branch and the branch team will be daily responsibilities. The successful candidate should have glazing experience, self-motivated, customer focused and commercially aware, a genuine team player, and have the desire to succeed. Support from our vastly experienced management team will allow you to grow the branch to your own limits. Solid IT skills and a current, full driving license are essential. Duties Ensure that the branch operates efficiently and to high standards within the glazing industry. Driving customer sales and maximising margins Promote our service throughout the region Quickly resolve any customer issues Manage and develop the branch team Identify and develop sales opportunities Ensure that branch tasks are completed efficiently and accurately Identifying improvement opportunities Build strong customer relationships Strive to achieve sales and budget targets. Your motivation and ability to inspire people will play a big part in your success within this role. Our managers are hands-on, and lead by example, focused on driving the team to reach sales and branch targets. Essential Skill set Experience gained within the glass and glazing sector Supervisory or management experience is essential Be based within 1 hour of Birmingham An outgoing personality as well as possessing strong people management skills Confident and articulate verbal communicator with all levels of managers and employees Strong Management skills and experience of leading a team The passion and energy to deliver exceptional customer service and achieve business targets Enthusiasm and positive attitude with a commitment to contribute to the growth of the business and to assist with the development of its employees to maximise job satisfaction and performance Organisational skills, drive and leadership to manage a branch effectively Experience of stock management and financial reporting are an advantage, though training and support will be provided A valid driving licence Job Type: Full-time Pay: £50,358.00-£60,274.00 per year
