We are looking for a Head of Financial Advice for our client based in Dorking. This role will help drive a well-established wealth advisory firm forward onto the next stage of its growth plan. You'll work alongside the Founder and Executive Board and will be offered a competitive package including an incentive plan based on meeting the company's growth objectives.
Reporting to the Managing Director, the Head of Financial Advice will be responsible for providing leadership across the Adviser team, developing and embedding a people-centric culture to ensure good outcomes for clients and Advisers. You will have deep sector knowledge, and as a thought leader, you will be accountable for the advisory division's vision, strategy, performance, and delivery of results. Additionally, you will take a lead role in the coordination and collaboration of all divisional resources to evolve the proposition and ensure the delivery of financial targets.
Requirements
* Educated to degree standard or equivalent, holding a business-related professional qualification.
* 5+ years of experience within Wealth Management/Financial Advice leadership.
* An accomplished Senior Management professional with relevant Segment & Sales leadership experience.
* Leadership and sales execution in organisations of similar size and complexity.
* Previous experience of managing a budget and being responsible for the profitability of their area of responsibility.
* Excellent people leadership with the ability to excite, motivate, nurture, and enable the success of others through collaboration and teamwork.
* Strong negotiation skills with experience of operating and influencing effectively at all levels, including the Board.
* Demonstrable focus on the customer, creating ownership and initiative.
* Strong commercial acumen, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
* Record of mentoring and/or wider involvement within the industry.
* Ability to network with key personnel within and outside of the organisation.
* Holds other financial services-related qualifications relevant to the area of expertise.
