MANAGING DIRECTOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Direct and manage activities to achieve agreed commercial and strategic objectives.
Responsible for the recruitment and selection of employees and to ensure their ongoing suitability and competence for their appointed duties.
Responsible to encourage growth and development of staff by appropriate delegation of responsibilities and authority and to assist wherever possible with ongoing personnel career development through the development and implementation of structured training programmes.
Responsible for carrying out appraisals for Recruitment Team Leads/Supervisors and/or Team personnel in line with the Group Appraisal procedure.
Collaborate with the People & Culture team on personnel matters requiring specific advice.
Attend monthly Recruitment Management Meetings providing reports to the Board of Directors and Group Recruitment Director.
Conduct monthly meetings with to ensure clear communication across all aspects of business operations.
Engage in regular dialogue with other Group leaders to capitalise on cross selling opportunities for other Group companies.What background and experience are the company looking for?
Proven experience in a senior leadership role, preferably within the staffing or human resources industry with ideally, extensive experience working within the recruitment market.
Knowledge of GLAA and ALP desirable.
Demonstrable experience of being responsible for Profit and Loss.
Management of recruitment campaigns.
CIPD/REC or Degree qualified desirable but not essential.
Excellent strategic planning skills and the ability to translate ideas into actionable plans.
Strong communication capabilities with a knack for articulating vision and fostering an environment of open dialogue.
Adept at building and nurturing relationships both internally and externally, creating networks that bolster company objectives.
