Position: Project Engineer
Location: Burgess Hill (Hybrid working)
Working Hours: Monday-Friday, 40 Hours per week
Building on over 18 years of success, Gama Aviation is looking to add to our FlyerTech team, which comprises energetic, talented, and customer-focused individuals. We are seeking a Project Engineer who will help to maintain and grow FlyerTech’s enviable reputation that makes us our customers’ independent CAMO of choice. Based at our UK office in Burgess Hill.
This role will predominantly provide support on all airworthiness projects, including managing the delivery of customer aircraft transitions and completing all associated aircraft documentation in line with the national NAA standards. You will act as the main point of contact for the customer, ensuring customer requirements are understood and any issues that arise are resolved as quickly and smoothly as possible.

Responsibilities:
* Compile reports following Aircraft Physical and Technical Records Audits
* Deliver regular progress reports to senior management and customers as necessary
* Project management of customer aircraft through lease transition
* Work in partnership with various National Aviation Authorities
* Create reports demonstrating various Airworthiness Compliance Requirements
* Work on various projects within a team of Airworthiness Management Engineers
* Act as the main point of contact for FlyerTech’s customers for aircraft transitions
Skills, Qualifications, and Experience required:
Essential
* Hold a valid Part 66 B1 or B2 Licence or C Licence, or hold an aeronautical engineering degree or a national equivalent
* Experience in aircraft maintenance and/or continuing airworthiness management
* In-depth knowledge of Aircraft Documentation with regards to national Civil Aviation Authorities
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively to management and customers on project status and timeline
* Good team player with the ability to manage projects with minimal supervision
* Holds a valid Passport and full UK Driving Licence
* Flexible and able to travel at short notice
Advantageous
* Type training or experience in B737 or A320 will be a distinct advantage
