Responsibilities Day-to-Day
* To act in the lead role as a Team Leader Residential Childcare Worker, providing care, welfare, safety and security to individuals.
* To support young people with structure and boundaries.
* To work on behalf of the young persons to educate and provide positive advice with any aspect of their health care requirements and consult with health care professionals where appropriate.
* To be aware of and comply with the statutory requirements and all the company’s policies and procedures including those of outdoor activities.
* To maintain a high level of recording and report writing.
Requirements
* Driving licence
* Level 3 qualification or above in Residential Childcare
* Knowledge of children’s home regulation 2015
* Experience of working in residential childcare provisions (ages 8-17)
