Job Description
Jefferies Restructuring Team is expanding and we are looking for an experienced Associate to be based in our London office. Associates in Financial Restructuring work on a variety of transactions within the group, including debtor- and creditor-side restructurings and distressed mergers and acquisitions.
Jefferies a unique opportunity for associates to work on projects that provide exposure to a wide variety of financial advisory and investment banking products and industries.
Key Responsibilities & Tasks
The successful individual will be responsible for structuring and executing transactions, and typically functions as a backup for relationships with important clients, is generally the key contact for some clients, and begins to assume some important new business responsibilities
Qualifications/ Experience
* 3-6 years work experience involving financial analysis or transaction execution.
* Exceptional work ethic and a high level of enthusiasm, initiative and leadership potential.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including ability to develop rapport with existing and potential clients.
* Strong knowledge of accounting and financial modeling.
* Highly motivated, team player with an ability to learn in a fast-paced, challenging environment.
Location of work
This role is based in London and will be office based or flexible working with a blend of home and office, subject to Jefferies operational requirements
