Job Description

Our team supports clients in optimising crop production, protecting the environment, and ensuring sustainable farming practices. We are now seeking a Trials Agronomist to join our Natural Resources team and play a key role in delivering high-quality agricultural trials.
What You’ll Do
As a Trials Agronomist, you will:
* Plan, organise, and conduct field trials in line with Good Experimental Practice (GEP) (GLP) and industry standards.
* Collect, analyse, and interpret trial data to support clients’ research and development objectives.
* Ensure the accurate application of treatments and precise trial assessments.
* Maintain trial sites, including land preparation, sowing, and harvesting.
* Communicate trial progress and results with clients and colleagues.
* Adhere to health and safety protocols while working with agricultural equipment, chemicals, and trial sites.
Qualifications
What We’re Looking For
To succeed in this role, you’ll need:
* A degree in Agriculture, Agronomy, Crop Science, or alternative related experience.
* Previous experience in field trials or agricultural research (preferred but not essential for the right candidate).
* Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow strict protocols.
* Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
* A full UK driving license (essential).
* A passion for agriculture, sustainability, and innovation.
Full training will be provided in this role, you will be working with colleagues to understand the nature of the role.
