We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing assistance to individuals, particularly children, in their daily activities and ensuring their well-being. Responsibilities
* Assist children with daily living activities, promoting independence and personal development.
* Communicate effectively with children, families, and other professionals to ensure a supportive environment.
* Drive to various locations as required for outings or appointments.
* Implement and monitor care plans tailored to individual needs.
* Maintain accurate records of care provided and progress made by the individuals supported.
* Collaborate with other team members to enhance the quality of care delivered.
* Participate in training sessions to improve skills and knowledge related to support work.
Qualifications
* Previous experience in childcare or working with children is essential.
* Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Ability to drive and hold a valid driving licence is preferred.
* Familiarity with IT systems for record-keeping and communication purposes is beneficial.
* Understanding of care plans and how to implement them effectively is desirable.
