We're looking for an Electrical Project Engineer to join our Natural Resources team, on our Severn Trent water framework working from site at Wanlip, Leicestershire.

Responsibilities
We're looking for an Electrical Project Engineer to join our NRNN business unit. The successful candidate will work on a project to undertake an upgrade and enhancement of the existing wastewater treatment facility. Reporting to the Project Manager, you will work alongside the project delivery team to ensure the design, procurement, financial control, and site activities are achieved. Your day to day will include:
* Authorising technical scopes of works, undertaking gap analysis on mechanical tender submissions and compiling mechanical design RFIs.
* Identifying and rectifying interface issues within the mechanical D&B packages
* Creation of digital quality records as well as management of supply chain programmes
* Oversee projects from inception to completion using supply chain resources and construction personnel.
* Early site investigation works in coordination with the client, design, and project team, as well as the production and review of health and safety documentation, including risk assessments, method statements, and project management plans.
* Responsible for overseeing the procurement of the correct materials, attending site and works testing, commissioning, and client training.
What are we looking for?
This Electrical Project Engineer is great for you if you have:
* A minimum HND qualified in electrical engineering with experience in electrical engineering design on capital projects.
* A good knowledge of motor control centres including variable speed 690V and 420V
* An understanding of switchgear design including discrimination calculations and protection devices.
* A good knowledge of electrical design in ATEX hazardous areas.
