Administrator (HR Recruitment) Department : Human Resources Salary : Starting from £24,044, rising to £25,433 pro rata Closing date : Sunday 05 January 2025 Are you an excellent administrator and communicator looking for an opportunity in 2025? We have a great opportunity for someone to come and join our friendly team within a busy HR department working a few hours every day. About the role In this role, you will have the opportunity to get involved in a variety of tasks across the whole employee lifecycle, and will provide excellent administration and support solutions that ensures we are able to meet the need of our customers, and provide an excellent HR recruitment service. You must be interested in developing and maintaining an understanding of good practice and applying it to ensure HR processes are carried out effectively and with a high level of attention to detail. A typical day: - Managing a shared inbox dealing with enquiries from line mangers, external companies and employees. - Updating the in-house database. - Collating information using Excel and MS Teams e.g. reviewing and processing relocation & visa claims, as well as interview expenses. - Ensuring we have the correct documentation in place to satisfy immigration requirements. - Assisting the Recruitment Team with administrative tasks. - Assisting the coordinating of the universitys yearly Work Experience programme. - Triaging general queries from Hiring Managers and HR staff. About you You will be adept at multi-tasking, possess excellent interpersonal skills and have a positive, professional manner with the ability to deal tactfully and confidently with people at all levels. Given the nature of this role, excellent attention to detail is critical as is the ability to prioritise work effectively and to work to deadlines on your own initiative. You don't need to have worked in an HR department to be successful in this role, but it is essential that you have excellent IT literacy and communication skills, both verbal and written. Key skills required: - Have well developed administration and organisational skills - Be able to follow processes and work on your own initiative - An ability to recognise obstacles and seek solutions - Be able to multi-task across projects on a daily basis Further information This post is part time, working 29.2 hours per week.
