TheRadiology Research Team is recruiting!
Thisis a full-time post (1.0 WTE) for four months due to the funding allocatedfor this specific project. This can be either as a secondment if you arealready working at LTHT or as a fixed-term contract. It is ideal for analready experienced band 5 Clinical Trials Coordinator or an experienced band 4 Senior Clinicaltrials Assistant wishing to take on more responsibility and autonomy. Thispost will be based at St Jamess Teaching Hospital.
Thepost holder will actively contribute to the conduct, coordination, anddelivery of the Better Medicine project Building a Deep Learning Pipelinefor Automatic Localisation and Classification of Cystic Renal Masses intoBosniak 2019 Categories from Multi-Phase CT Examinations.

Main duties of the job
Themain tasks are:
Screening large amounts of patientdata and diligently apply the specified inclusion and exclusion criteria.
All datasets must be fullyanonymized therefore the candidate needs to be familiar with applying andadhering to the principals of data protection and patient confidentiality
To work independently andautonomously, with minimal supervision.
To liaise and collaborate withwider member of the MDT working on this project,
Given the limited funding periodand timeframe of the project the candidate will need to be able to learn andadapt quickly to the new role and tasks to be able to deliver therequirements in an efficient and timely manner.
To retrospectively identify aminimum of 200 eligible patient.
To assist in the retrospectiveacquisition of a minimum of 200 de-identified data sets, consisting of CTreports and histopathology reports.
To work in conjunction with theresearch project pathologist to identify suitable cases based on protocolinclusion/exclusion criteria.
To work in conjunction with theR-DIT (research digital informatics team) to pass this information to them inorder for them to extract and de-identify the CT images and accompanyingclinical data.
