3 years Fixed Term Contract ABOUT THE ENGAGEMENT WORKER ROLE We are looking for an Engagement Worker for a 3-year fixed-term role. This important job involves helping people with complex needs to recover and rebuild their lives. You will work in a supportive and understanding environment (PIE) and provide care that focuses on each person’s needs. Your role will help residents and participants grow stronger, learn new skills, and reach their goals. Holman House: Is a 19-bed residential service close to Bedford Town Centre offering a safe, peaceful and supportive living environment for individuals wishing to engage with support to assist them in increasing their levels of independence. Shift Pattern: 37.5 hours per week, Rota-based shifts, including evenings and weekends, flexibility required. Shifts include: 08:00 - 16:00, 09:00 - 17:00, and 12:00 - 20:00 face to face in service. Salary: £23,800 What are we looking for from a Engagement worker? Experience working with people who have complex needs or a good understanding of this type of work Flexible working hours to meet the needs of the service and the people we support Able to promote the service, work in the community, and build good relationships with partners and other organisations Strong communication skills, both written and spoken.
