Role Type: Day Rate Contract or Fixed Term Contract Duration: 12 months Start Date: October 2024 The Role: In this role, you’ll work closely with network engineers, project managers and other IT professionals to design, implement and maintain our network infrastructure, ensuring our systems run efficiently and securely. Key Responsibilities Network design and implementation: Work closely with other members of the Network and Security Team to implement and deploy network infrastructure, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security Collaboration with cross-functional teams: Network maintenance and troubleshooting: Work closely with the Service Delivery Team to perform regular maintenance tasks and help troubleshoot and resolve network issues promptly to minimize downtime Documentation: Create and maintain detailed documentation of network configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps Travel: International travel will be required for this role Skills & Experience Proven experience as a Network Engineer or in a similar role Experience working within a global enterprise organisation Experience with network security, including LAN, WLAN, SDWAN, VPNs, and Security Previous experience working on greenfield and brownfield deployments Certifications such as Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or equivalent are a plus Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to analyse and resolve complex network issues Demonstrate resilience in the face of challenges and uncertainties, maintaining a solution-orientated approach to problem-solving Ability to understand and capture business requirements Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Proven self-starter working well with minimal supervision Education in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field Nice to have's VLAN, Cisco Catalyst, Spanning Tree, VRF, Routing, Meraki Check Point, SDWAN, AWS/Azure networking, Infrastructure (VMWare/Hyper-V), Linux At RWS, we’re here for one purpose: unlocking global understanding.
