My injury has had a big impact on my physical health as I am now a full-time wheelchair user who needs support from others.
I am a 27-year-old man who lives on my family dairy farm. I enjoy comedy and I am a Stoke City season ticket holder. I suffer with chronic pain as a result of my injury, and I need help managing this.
You will receive:
1. Hourly rate £11.44
2. A pension if eligible
3. 5.6 weeks annual leave pro-rata
4. Full certificated training on all aspects of the role
Hours available:
5. A minimum of 36 hours per week
6. There will be opportunity to work additional hours on occasions in relation to holidays and sickness
What’s Required:
7. Provide assistance with some aspects of personal care.
8. A full driving license.
9. Flexibility in working hours essential, occasional evening hours may also be required.
10. Weekend work essential.
11. Comfortable working around friendly dogs.
12. An enhanced DBS check, the cost will be covered by the Employer.
We are ideally, but not essentially, looking for a male applicant of a similar age with a sense of humour who would motivate and encourage the client. In your application, please include a short statement of why this role appeals to you and describe what attributes you have that are important to bring to a caring role.
