Marketing Data Specialist | Freelance Writer

We're seeking a Chartered Accountant to play a key role in providing exceptional accounting services to our clients. Due to the entrepreneurial clients that we work with, we often find our work involves forward forecasting and reports; therefore, we want someone who possesses more than just a compliant service mindset, but can also support with this further growth.
Responsibilities:
* Preparation of statutory accounts and corporation tax returns for a range of clients
* Management of client relationships and communication with clients on accounting and tax matters
* Overseeing and commenting on report packs and management data for clients
* Assisting with tax planning, audits, VAT returns, and other financial matters as required
* Keeping up to date with changes to accounting and tax regulations, and advising clients on any implications
* Helping to develop and train team members
Requirements:
* At least 5 years' experience as a fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or equivalent)
* Experience in preparing statutory accounts and corporation tax returns for a variety of clients
* Ability to communicate complex financial information in a clear and concise manner
* A solid understanding of accounting standards and tax legislation
* An entrepreneurial mindset with a self-starting attitude, and the ability to work independently and in a team
* Experience in auditing and have previously been an RI / would like to be one in the future would be advantageous

This is a full-time role (Monday to Friday), based in our beautifully refurbished office in Maldon, Essex. (You must be able to reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work.)
