Job Description Nordomatic UK is seeking an experienced Finance Director to lead in driving financial strategy and operational excellence. Working closely with the Country Director and Group Finance function based in Stockholm, you'll lead on all aspects of financial planning, reporting, and governance while positioning the business for sustainable growth and profitability. Nordomatic is a highly ambitious company, looking to continue its growth, as such you will also play a critical role in supporting in financial planning, and strategic investments. Key Responsibilities Lead the UK Finance Team, inspiring best practice and fiscal discipline whilst identifying improvement opportunities. Lead financial planning, budgeting, and cash flow management. Oversee management accounts, financial forecasts, and statutory reporting. Drive profitability through strategic analysis and financial optimisation. Guide the business through future investment opportunities. Ensure compliance with UK GAAP, IFRS, and regulatory requirements. Act as a trusted advisor to the Country Director and Group Board, delivering insights that shape business decisions. Ensuring statutory and regulatory compliance Ensure that the finance department operates and acts in accordance with Nordomatic core values – Trust, Action, Value. The Successful Applicant We are looking for an accomplished finance professional with the strategic insight and technical expertise to drive the financial operations of the business. Professional qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) Experience of operating in a financial leadership role within a growth environment Ideally, proven experience within a similar sector, such as BMS, managed services, FM, or a broader business services environment. Strong leadership skills, with the ability to develop and mentor teams. Advanced expertise in budgeting, forecasting, financial modelling, and analysis. Proficiency in implementation and continuous improvement of ERP systems, ideally Microsoft D365, Power BI and advanced Excel skills. Strategic mindset, with the ability to translate financial data into actionable insights. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels. Resilient and adaptable, thriving in fast-paced environments. History working within ‘Big Four’ accountancy firms is desirable The ideal candidate will be based near Manchester or Birmingham, applicants from other Northwest or Midlands locations can also be considered with some flexibility for Hybrid working available.
