Wake Night Support Worker
Shift pattern - 9pm until 7am, Tuesday, Saturday and Sunday
30 hour vacancy
£11.94 per hour

Main duties and responsibilities:
1. Participate in the day-to-day implementation of individual support plans and activities within a challenging environment.
2. Maintain effective communication and liaison with service users, families, and others whilst respecting appropriate confidentiality.
3. Support service users with the preparation of meals, laundry duties, cleaning, and social events.
4. Maintain accurate notes and records as and when required.
5. Work as part of a team to provide high-quality care.
Personal Characteristics:
1. Diploma in Health and Social Care or willingness to work towards one.
2. Experience in supporting adults with challenging behaviour, learning disabilities, and/or mental health issues.
3. The ability to keep calm under pressure.
4. The confidence to work alone or as part of a team.
5. Excellent communication skills.
6. The passion to work with vulnerable adults.
7. The desire and commitment to achieve high standards of safeguarding.
