General Description:
The Partner Sales Manager (PSM) is responsible for cultivating relationships and developing solutions with TEKsystems Global Services' most strategic partners (AWS, Microsoft, GCP, Red Hat, Snowflake, ServiceNow). The PSM’s impact is felt through the connectivity created between TEKsystems Global Services’ practices, alliances, and customers. The PSM realizes this through a persistent focus on relationship management, innovative GTM sales programs, business development and market activation. PSMs will need to have strong networking skills, attention to detail, outstanding oral/written communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment across a matrixed organization. The ideal candidate has both a business background that enables them to engage at the CXO level, and a sales background that enables them to easily interact with enterprise customers and partner with field sales reps. You should have a demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges, with the ability to build and convey compelling value propositions.
Responsibilities
PSM’s will be focused on 6 key areas:
1. Partner Relationship Development: Fostering relationships with Strategic Partner Account Managers/FSRs, Partner Sales Managers, Partner Development Managers and Regional/Industry Managers across dedicated industry.
2. Funding Activation: Maintain expert-level understanding of all partner funding mechanisms and leverage partner funding to increase TEKGS’ ability to win deals with existing and new customers.
3. Sub-Contracting Business Development: Develop relationships within partner professional services organizations with the goal of generating net new business opportunities.
4. Industry Solution Development and Sales: Identifying, building, and executing innovative partner-specific go-to-market programs and sales sprints with our alliance partners that generate new pipeline.
5. Alliance Enablement and Advancement: Internally educate and evangelize partner’s products and services, defining and executing against the partner program.
6. Opportunity Acceleration / Support: Build and nurture partner-specific pipeline for the Industry / Vertical and support TEKGS ability to win deals based on technology and partner expertise.
Work closely and collaboratively with internal stakeholders, identify and develop strategic alignment with key third-party influencers, and close new business deals by coordinating requirements; develop and negotiate contracts and integrate contract requirements with business operations.
Qualifications
Requisite Experience:
* 6+ years of sales experience in Information Technology Services, ideally with 2+ years of Cloud solutions experience.
* 1+ years experience working with 3rd party influencers to sell services.
* Successful track record in services sales.
* Proven experience at the C and executive level.
* Cloud Sales or Alliance Management experience.
