This is an opportunity to be part of a dynamic RICS accredited Kent based Construction company who are looking for a dedicated and experienced Office Administrator / Administration Assistant - to provide administrative support to a team of Surveyors and Consultants whilst maintaining the company's social media and website.
OFFICE ADMINISTRATOR / ADMINISTRATION ASSISTANT
LOCATION: 100% office based - Faversham, Kent. Driving licence needed as offices are located on the outskirts of Faversham.
SALARY: £26K- £27K basic + benefits, pension.
HOURS: Monday-Friday. 9am-5.30pm. 100% Office Based.
As a full time/ office-based Administrator / Administration Assistant, you will be working as part of a friendly team. Your varied and busy office admin duties will include:
1. General adhoc Administration duties to support the entire team.
2. Greeting visitors and offering refreshments.
3. Dealing with incoming and outgoing post, including couriers.
4. Answering the telephone, taking messages, dealing with enquiries.
5. Creating content on social media platforms.
6. Creating and distributing company newsletters.
7. Maintaining the company's website.
8. Ensuring the correct templates and standard letters are used to support surveyors.
9. Typing - including audio typing.
10. Maintaining office supplies including office stationery and refreshments.
11. Overseeing the shared surveying equipment to know where each asset is located.
12. Diary management to book training, meetings and events for surveyors.
13. Assisting in Xero finance package - full training given.
14. Supporting the team with company's Quality Management System and standards.
You will be a personable team player with a confident, friendly telephone manner as well as good organisational skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and a willingness to learn. You will have good all-round office admin / clerical skills with a good understanding of how to create social media content, and be confident in Word, Excel & Outlook.
Your background will be in admin / clerical work. Current / previous Admin jobs or the type of role you're looking for may include Admin Assistant, Office Administrator, Office Secretary, Document Controller, Marketing Administrator, Marketing Assistant, Social Media Administrator, Administration Assistant or similar.
