?? Key Responsibilities: Planning and scheduling daily transport routes for maximum efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
Coordinating with drivers, warehouse teams, and external partners to ensure smooth dispatch and delivery operations.
Managing bookings, delivery notes, manifests, and all necessary transport documentation.
Monitoring and updating the transport management system (TMS) with accurate and timely data.
Liaising with customers and resolving any transport-related issues or queries.
Ensuring all compliance and legal requirements are met for UK and European transport.
Supporting the transport manager with administrative tasks and operational planning.
Identifying potential delays and proactively resolving or escalating issues to avoid disruption.
Working closely with the warehouse and inventory teams to align transport with stock availability and outbound needs.
? Requirements: Proven experience in a transport planning and logistics administration role.
Strong knowledge of UK transport regulations and geographical routing.
European logistics experience or understanding of cross-border transport requirements is a strong plus.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and transport/warehouse management systems.
Excellent communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
High level of attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
